DiarioMedico and Correo Farmacéutico have organized the 1st edition of E-NNOVA HEALTH’21 Awards where, among more than 500 nominations, we won on the Digital Transformation and on the Big Data and Artificial Intelligence categories.
The first edition of the E-nnova Health Awards has recognized 68 initiatives that have contributed to the digital transformation of the sector. In order to recognize digital initiatives in health that add value, contribute to the sustainability of the system and improve the quality of life of patients, Diario Médico and Correo Farmacéutico, leading specialized media in the health sector of Unidad Editorial, have created the E-nnova Health 2021 Awards, whose awards ceremony was held on 10th November in Madrid.
The objective of these awards is to promote the culture of digital transformation in the health field, recognizing the work carried out by institutions, health administrations, professional organizations, employers’ associations and companies that turn their efforts into exploring new horizons in the world of Medicine and Pharmacy, and improve efficiency and quality of care.
The awards have been distributed in different territories of Spain, in six categories: Big Data and Artificial Intelligence, telehealth and E-Learning, digital empowerment of the patient, IoT in e-Health and Wearables, robotics and digital transformation
Carlos Fernandez-Llatas and Gema Ibanez-Sanchez, together with Angeles Celda of the General University Hospital of Valencia, got the award in the Digital Transformation category for the work «Process mining in the management of an emergency service«
Antonio Martínez Millana, together with professionals from the Hospital Universitario y Politécnico La Fe, and the Instituto de Investigación Sanitaria La Fe, was in charge, on this occasion, of collecting the prize awarded for the work on the «iNeoM» project with neonates.
