CrowdHEALTH
CrowdHEALTH is an international research project funded by the European Commission’s Horizon 2020 Programme that aims to integrate large volumes of heterogeneous health-related data from multiple sources to support policy decision making. CrowdHEALTH provides a secure ICT platform for collecting and aggregating large volumes of health data from multiple information sources in Europe. It proposes the evolution from patient health records (PHRs) to holistic health records (HHRs) enriched to become “social HHRs” to capture clinical, social and human factors.
Today’s rich digital information environment is characterised by a multitude of data sources, which are characterised by extremely large amounts of medical data. However, the data currently collected is heterogeneous and distributed among different healthcare providers and systems that function independently. Our goal is to complete these records and establish models for making decisions regarding the design of public health campaigns.
