MySPHERA bq
Description
The SPHERAbq project aims to develop an Information System for Efficient Management of Surgical Wings in Hospitals, with the intention of providing the Health Sector with a powerful tool to effectively manage surgery, supporting scheduling, activities, safety and operations, with both professionals and visitors to the hospital in mind. The tool, based on data proceeding from sources such as the Hospital Information System (HIS) and Real Time Location Systems, will provide the right information when and where necessary, to improve overall surgical performance.
With this tool, MYSPHERA underlines its strategy to give value to their customers through the SPHERAhospital system, through identification, location and tracking of assets and patients in hospital environments, setting the company apart from the competition and supporting international market expansion. The ICT Applied to Health Processes Reengineering Group, belonging to the Joint Research Unit in Biomedical Engineering (UICIB), will contribute with their knowledge and experience. UICIB was founded in 2009 at Valencia Polytechnic University and La Fe Health Research Institute.
