NuMielo II
Multiple Myeloma (MM) is a type of blood cancer that mainly affects older people. This disease occurs causing weakness, formation of bone tumors and bone fractures and kidney failure among other symptoms, all accompanied by pain that ends up chronifying. Unfortunately, to this day there is no cure for this pathology where the life expectancy is very short. Research in this field has made it possible to develop drugs that contribute to prolonging the life expectancy of these patients, but the results are insufficient in terms of quality of life.
After years of experience in the field of clinical research and primary care in the oncohematological area and aware of how this disease affects the various areas of life of these patients, diminishing and profoundly deteriorating their nutritional, psychological and social status.
NuMielo II proposes the implementation of a computer solution that allows empowering patients with MM, providing them with sufficient resources to manage their health, integrating nutritional and psychological aspects and thus offer comprehensive assistance to the disease.
