LACH

The Laboratory of the Analysis of the Human Behavior (LACH) is a research infrastructure focused on the study and the integration of quantifying and monitoring of the human being technologies and the construction of solutions to the promotion of the healthy lifestyles, diseases prevention, promotion of the active aging and empowerment of patients with chronic diseases.

The objective of SABIEN is to launch the LACH as a reference laboratory to prove, analyze and develop new applications which make use of the Information and communications technologies (ICT) and personal sensors with a comprehensive approach of the Health & Wellness which is related with the prevention, the health promotion, the people wellness, the support to the social inclusion and the independent life.

LACH if formed by 36 devices including final products and development kits. Four major working areas are identified:

• Development and Integration: Design and implementation kit for the integration of devices, sensors and complete ad-hoc solutions.
• Augmented reality: Three Google Glass devices for the development of applications based on image recognition and augmented reality by geolocation and Internet of Things.
• Quantification: Collection of physiological sensors of activity and positioning for the creation of systems of intensive and non-invasive monitoring.
• Remote control: Smartwatches kit for using as secondary display, personalization of information and remote control of variables/processes.
