SANDBOX

The INCLIVA Foundation, in collaboration with the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV), is promoting the project ‘Sandbox for Innovation in Ecosustainable Hospital Processes for Value-Based Healthcare’. This initiative seeks to improve the efficiency and sustainability of the healthcare system by optimising hospital processes using process mining and artificial intelligence.

🔎 Project Objectives:

✅ Design an innovative methodology to detect and prioritise improvement needs in hospital processes.

✅ To create a Sandbox, a safe environment where companies in the Valencia Region can test and validate technological solutions in healthcare.

✅ Promote collaboration between health institutions, companies and universities for innovation in health.

✅ To reduce the carbon footprint of the health sector, promoting more sustainable practices.

📊 Expected results:

✔️ Identification and optimisation of key hospital processes.

✔️ Evaluation and validation of technological solutions in a real environment.

✔️ Transfer of knowledge and promotion of Innovative Public Procurement (IPP).

✔️ Development of new strategies for more efficient, sustainable and patient-centred healthcare.

The role of the UPV

The Universitat Politècnica de València contributes its experience in health technologies and process mining, facilitating the development of advanced methodologies to improve hospital efficiency. It also collaborates in the creation of the sandbox, ensuring that the proposed solutions are viable and scalable.
